Monetary Donation Support
Want to support the work we’re doing?
Your donations help us keep initiatives like the Community Closet free and accessible for our community. While not all of our events and programs are free, we strive to keep costs low and create resources rooted in care, dignity, and fat joy.
Every dollar makes a difference - from restocking the closet to covering supplies and operational costs to keep these offerings going strong.
Community Closet Guidelines
Our Community Closet is built on care, trust, and abundance. Please follow these guidelines to keep it accessible and welcoming for everyone.
Donations
- Clothing should be clean. Please wash items before donating if possible.
- We only accept plus-size clothing in sizes XL (16) and up.
- Items should be in good condition. Brand name items needing minor repairs (like missing buttons) are welcome.
- Shoes and accessories in gently used condition also welcome.
- Please donate items that are appropriate for the current season. For example, no winter coats in summer - we have limited space to store items.
Shopping
- Take only what you need or will use. This closet exists to support our community, not for resale or profit.
- If you take something home and later decide it’s not for you, please return it to the Community Closet or donate it elsewhere so it can continue to support someone who needs it.
- Reselling items taken from the Community Closet is strictly prohibited.
- If we find out that someone is reselling items from this resource, they will be banned from using the Community Closet and our events.
💖 Our Commitment
We operate this closet on trust and collective care. Let’s keep this space rooted in mutual aid, dignity, and fat joy for everyone in our community.
